LC Industries, a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, retail and E-Commerce Company, is seeking an Order Filler to join our team.

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the overall operation, storage and issue of hazardous materials. Properly in-checks and receives hazardous materials ensuring that items are properly stored according to their hazard classification of Flammable, Combustible or Corrosive. Utilizes EESOH Computer program and serialized labels. Maintain, interpret and retrieve Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s). Coordinates with manufactures and item managers for retrieval of current SDS' as necessary. Understands and properly interprets Shelf-Life Codes (SLC). Monitors the shelf life program ensuring that material is rotated in stock and issued out on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis. Maintains shelf-life data ensuring that extendable material is extended when necessary and non-extendable material is used prior to expiration. Reviews and interprets FEDLOG and applicable service and DOD manuals to ensure shelf /service life is correct. Researches various DOD websites for shelf life extensions when appropriate and make determination for submitting material for lab testing. Process sale, prepare for delivery (if required) and issue material utilizing the base EMP/EESOH (if applicable). Performs cycle counts and inventory of all serialized assets on a monthly basis. Monitors expired material and works with local officials for disposal as necessary. Report potential safety problems to the department supervisor and maintain a clean work area. Interacts with co-workers in a cooperative and professional manner. Regularly communicate with customers and LCI stores via phone and email. Assist in Hazmat Hub report creation and data entry and collection using Excel, LCI Hazmat Portal and AXAPTA Assist the Hazmat Hub in training other hazmat stores in the various forms of software. Assist in updating Navy Hazmat procedures. Complete 24 hour OSHA HAZCOM and HAZWOPER training. Adheres to company policies and procedures. Conduct and document daily inspections of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)/Eyewash/Shower units. Conduct and document daily inspection of forklift/battery operated lift if applicable. Coordinate with customers to ensure that serialized labels are properly transferred and received (EESOH users). Review daily HAZMAT orders and process requests (EESOH Users). Conduct daily drum/leak inspections. Coordinate with management on the transfer and shipment of hazardous materials utilizing the local FEDEX/UPS shipping software. Coordinate with management to ensure the proper stock levels are maintained and slow or non-moving items are identified for transfer. Maintain open Sales Order Report to ensure all sales orders are processed in Axapta. Maintain Open Purchase Order Report to ensure all PO’s are processed and material is received in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training. Must have good reading and writing skills and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ideal candidate is a prior DoD employee who possesses/possessed a security clearance and can obtain a CAC for access to the military LAN understand and be able to use Microsoft Office programs. Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
