Services Offered
Education Services
The Oklahoma School for the Blind and the Oklahoma School for the Deaf provide on-campus education programs for residential students and those who commute from home. Both Schools offer pre-school programs and provide onsite consultation to benefit students who are deaf or blind and attending other public schools across the state.
Employment/Job Training
School-to-Work Program helps students with disabilities who are eligible for vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for employment and life after high school.
Libraries/Alternate Media and Learning Resources
Maintains a central depository of braille and large print textbooks and other specialized instructional materials for loan to Oklahoma students who cannot use regular print.
