  • Information and Referral
    • Our presence at conferences, gatherings, and meeting structured to the exchange of information about blindness issues, medical topics, parental support, events is augmented by our emailings and our brochures, and newsletters.

If requested, we will strive to attend local parent group meetings and offer our assistance. CAPVI holds meetings and workshops on various topics related to the raising of blind children and interacts with other parents of blind children, usually at already established venues, conferences, but occasionally in regional meetings specific to a purpose, if invited.
  • Support Groups
    • CAPVI is especially active in connection with CTEVH's annual conference, designing and producing parent information workshops, occasional information for blind children themselves if there is a blind kid panel, where children can come to listen to their peers, and parents can observe successful blind kids/adults.
