Nemeth code tutorial for Braillenote

I was wondering about the nemeth code tutorial for the braillenote. I know that it is a teaching tool that can be used by my sons TVI or he can use it independently to learn nemeth code symbols. Would it allow my son to use nemeth code entry into his braillenote for math assignments? Would it also print the math symbols correctly in print for him to turn in to his teacher?
What other technology would be good for math?
My son is in 8th grade and in general math.
