OC and now bilateral cataracts at 3 yes old

My son had a noticeable nystagmus at birth. We took him to get checked at 6mon and he was diagnosed with Ocular Albinism with nystagmus. I took him back at 12 months and he did not need corrective glasses yet. His preschool teachers said he was having a had time seeing and suggested another pediatric opt. I brought him a day after his 3 rd birthday. I was told he needed surgery ASAP because he had bilateral cataracts. I am going for a second opinion today. Has anyone heard of cataracts developing at 3 with OA? Any suggestions with programs,services or specialist ?
