It may seem like yesterday when you had to feed your child and now she's feeding herself, as well as learning to dress herself and independently use the bathroom. You'll want to help her learn to take care of all her self-care needs so that by the time kindergarten rolls around she will be independent. She is continuing to increase her vocabulary and learning to use language effectively to share her thoughts with others. Due to her low vision or blindness she needs to have more hands-on experiences to fully understand things in her world, so we've given you many ideas here to help make that happen.
